Anderson Refrigeration is located in Oxnard, CA down the road from our Raypak headquarters. We got the chance to sit down with manager Rick Valdez to learn more about his company, how it came to be and why they choose Raypak year in and year out. 

Anderson Refrigeration has been in business since 1981 and Rick happily took over the business in 1991 – giving him over 36 years of experience in the air conditioning and heating industry!  Rick shared that their main business focus for the past 35+ years has been mostly on Raypak gas equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration work, and heat pump systems. Now his team is expanding their services into the residential pool equipment industry.  

Rick recently learned that Raypak pool and spa heaters come with a three-year warranty for parts and labor on the AVIA residential gas pool heater models. This warranty applies to both new build and replacement installations.

We asked Rick a little more about utilizing our Raypak teams to the best of our ability. From warranty assistance, tech support and in-person, hands-on training sessions, he especially loved that “Every time we are at a job site and we need tech support – you guys are quick and great!”

Rick also recognizes that training is important for him and his team to stay on top of new products, technology and industry trends. “Training would be great to do in the near future so we can maintain performance and education”, Rick noted. Our Raypal training sessions include both residential and commercial offerings and are available in our training center in Oxnard, CA or virtually. Our product training events range from an overview of our products features, functions and benefits, to a deep dive into all the technical details required to effectively troubleshoot and service Raypak products and systems.
